![]() ![]() 1P (1Password) is the best password manager that I’ve found so far! I have run many different password management packages over decades (plural). I'm still evaluating other password managers. Will I move away of LastPass? Absolutely. There are other bugs but this is long enough. Have had this failure several times making it difficult when changing passwords or performing other actions. The LP settings for generating a secure password are all in one place and you can customize to what you know the website wants.ġPassword popups cover other fields. It's at least 3 mouse clicks in the browser with 1Password to get there and one of those clicks is on a non-intuitive icon. That right mouse click is simple and very accessible. I like the ease of generating a secure password w/ LP. And yes I had an epic fail yesterday when changing a password on a site when using 1Password. I much prefer how LP and DashLane perform the save / update. Yes it can be recovered but remember we're looking at friction. It is actually pretty easy to get out of sync when changing passwords. How does one do that? Can't w/ that desktop app.ġPassword saves the password BEFORE you submit the form. I have hundreds of accounts and I'd like to be able to find those that DON'T have a tag. Apparently the earlier version was much better. The Mac desktop app searching is deficient. If you've had successful imports - good for you but I have not. The import went to an unexpected vault AND I had duplicates. ![]() After trying a couple times and not seeing the imported accounts in the vault I expected, I started rooting around. 1Password said that the import failed when in fact it had not. Discovered some issues and decided to do another import. I have to look at the amount of friction for those family members who don't want to have to do workarounds or deal with bugs. FYI - I'm not wedded to LP even though I've used it for many years. I love that I've been downvoted for expressing my issues w/ going from LP to 1Password. So far happy to be using it and have converted one family member over. ![]() Have a look at the tips & tricks post.The watchtower on desktop vs web display different results - not a deal breaker but just a bug.Saving updated passwords before they're changed on site (instead of after with LP) takes some getting used to.1Password app on mobile is MUCH better at autofill.The app does not work on my older phone (Galaxy S7 on Android 8) so I'm forced to use the website there instead.There's no notion of emergency access (dead man's switch).The vault sharing seems painful if wanting to share with various combinations of people in family.Unfortunately, there's no easy way to find attachments in LP and I have to go through manually Migration was seamless except for attachments.The 1Password Windows desktop app is slick and works really well to allow me to organize.Moved from years of LP premium to 1Password for families yesterday.
